Chemical Manufacturing Operator I
Inpria Corporation, a JSR company, has an opening for a Chemical Manufacturing Operator I based in Beaverton, OR. You will join our diverse team of talent and contribute to our Pilot Manufacturing Operations team by supporting and maintaining our EUV photoresist production line processes. Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform standard and non-standard formulation production runs
- Perform hands-on analytical measurements of in-process samples and other simple wet-bench chemistry, including use of laboratory fume hoods and inert gloveboxes
- Perform cleaning processes of various chemical manufacturing equipment under direction of technicians and engineering
- Replace empty gas cylinders with full cylinders
- Manage chemical waste following defined procedures and policies
- Perform general housekeeping in production areas and adjacent chemical labs
- Assist engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks and projects
- Adhere to change management policies by following documented procedures
- Complete provided training and certification courses on dangerous goods shipping and waste handling
- Accurately follow SOPs to efficiently pack, label, document, and manage shipments
- Monitor and maintain inventories of shipping and waste processing supplies
- Monitor and maintain inventories of production consumables and supplies
- Process incoming shipments through acceptance, storage, and inventory documentation. Verify shipments are received in good condition
- Transport freight and consumables and chemicals between delivery, storage and use areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area that meets safety standards
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years relevant work experience, or Associates Degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field
- Demonstration of active and effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Self-driven and proactive in achieving goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be detail oriented and safety minded
- Experience with high-purity chemical handling is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to table height
- Ability to move full 55-gallon drums with appropriate equipment
- Ability to wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing tasks inside chemical manufacturing and cleanroom environments
- May require fitting and use of respirator for specific tasks
- Ability to use a hand truck, drum lifter, and pallet jack to transport heavy objects
- Ability to use a glovebox that requires handling of small objects with thick rubber gloves
- Ability to stand in one place for extended periods
- Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry
