Quality Assurance Technician
Inpria Corporation, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician based in Corvallis, OR. We seek an enthusiastic and conscientious candidate to join our Quality team contributing directly to our Manufacturing Operations by performing internal audits of our Operators and Operations. At Inpria, you will audit all aspects of our High-Volume Manufacturing Operations comparing on-the-job processing steps against documented process instructions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform internal training audits, comparing documented process instructions against actual on-the-job processes
- Work with the training coordinator to maintain a matrixed list of tasks associated with HVM Operations
- Schedule frequent training audits of all Operators for all HVM Operations
- Audit on-the-job processes against documented process instructions; flag discrepancies
- Generate summary report for recertification or corrective action, as appropriate
- Maintain all internal audit reports in Inpria’s QMS system
- Work with Operations Management to create a corrective action plan, as needed, to ensure proper recertification of all HVM Operations
- Data entry of incoming quality Certificates of Analysis
- Finished goods CoA support
- Maintain deep understanding (via frequent training) of Inpria’s HVM Operations
- Support Operations, as needed
Key Qualifications:
- AA Degree in a Science or Engineering field, or High School diploma and either 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role, or 1-2 years' experience in a closely related chemical manufacturing or semiconductor facility environment
- Track record of safe laboratory practices
- Active and effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing operations environment; ability to mentor Operators and provide constructive feedback to align documentation to on-the-job processes
- Deep understanding of Change Control protocols in the semiconductor industry
- Proficiency in MS products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. overhead
- Ability to wear standard PPE and cleanroom attire in areas that require it
- Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data analysis, data entry, report generation, and presentations
