Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management

Inpria Corporation, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to lead and oversee our global supply chain operations. This role will report to the VP, Resist Materials and is responsible for planning, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and regulatory compliance in a highly technical and regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record managing international logistics—particularly with Asia-based partners.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of materials that support Inpria’s manufacturing and customer commitments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, manufacturing needs, and customer requirements, while driving continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop procurement, logistics, and planning teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee demand planning, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory optimization, and inventory control processes to ensure continuity of supply and optimal service levels.
  • Establish and maintain inventory policies to balance cost, risk, and operational performance.
  • Manage supplier sourcing, qualification, performance, and contract negotiations, driving cost-reduction and value creation initiatives.
  • Lead domestic and international logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and 3PL management, while maintaining strong relationships with freight forwarders, particularly in Asia-Pacific markets.
  • Optimize transportation modes, routes, and service levels to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, hazardous materials regulations, and global trade, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to support operational goals, new product introductions, and scale-up activities.
  • Provide strategic supply chain input to business planning, capital investment, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Leverage JSR global logistics, compliance, and supply-chain expertise to rapidly adapt industry-standard practices and procedures to Inpria operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in semiconductor, chemicals, advanced materials, or related industries with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, global supply chains.
  • Expertise in import/export regulations and customs compliance.
  • Strong experience working with freight forwarders, particularly for Asia-Pacific logistics.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain planning and execution, inventory management, procurement and supplier management, and global logistics.
  • Proven knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for importing/exporting hazardous materials.
  • Experience managing internal teams and external partners (3PLs, carriers, brokers, forwarders).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, operations, or materials supply chains.
  • APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CSCP, or similar professional certification.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing ERP/MRP systems.
  • Background in scaling operations in high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with international trade compliance programs (ITAR, EAR, HTS classification, etc., as applicable).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in an office, laboratory, manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry and/or analysis, and presenting data.
  • 40 hours/week or more, may vary depending on the needs of the department; nominal shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • Domestic and International travel estimated ~10%.
