IT Solutions Engineer

Inpria is seeking a versatile and technically skilled IT Solutions Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in dynamic environments where infrastructure meets innovation. You'll play a pivotal part in building internal tools, automating workflows, supporting IT infrastructure, and delivering projects that advance our operational capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of software development expertise, systems administration experience, and a collaborative mindset. This position will report directly to the IT Site Manager and contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day support efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Internal Tool Development: Design and build internal applications to eliminate manual spreadsheet processes and create scalable, dynamic workflows.
  • Infrastructure & Systems Support: Provide operational support for infrastructure including performance monitoring, backups, ESXi environments, and server resource administration.
  • Application Integration: Integrate and maintain SaaS platforms and tools, such as Novunex and Microsoft-based systems, ensuring seamless communication between applications.
  • UI & Workflow Automation: Develop user interfaces using tools like PowerApps and .NET; automate business processes with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT project implementation, from planning through execution and monitoring.
  • Vendor Coordination: Interface with external vendors to align service delivery with internal IT needs and goals.
  • Security & Compliance: Assist with implementing and maintaining IT security protocols using platforms like CrowdStrike and Qualys.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Participate in cross-team efforts that contribute to long-term IT strategy, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field preferred.
  • Industry related certifications, including, but not limited to:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
  • Proficiency with PowerApps, Power Automate, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET or similar UI development frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of virtual infrastructure, particularly VMware/ESXi.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection and compliance tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Qualys).
  • Proven track record of workflow automation and SaaS tool integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working across diverse technical areas in a collaborative hybrid environment.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry and/or analysis, and for presenting data.
  • Ability to wear standard PPE in areas that require it.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • 40 hours/week or more may vary depending on the needs of the department; weekend or overtime may be required.
  • Overnight travel may be required periodically
  • Day travel may be required periodically
  • May be required to work company-observed holidays to support operations.
