Chemical Manufacturing Operator I

Inpria Corporation, a JSR company, has an opening for a Chemical Manufacturing Operator I based in Corvallis, OR.  You will join our diverse team of talent and contribute to our High Volume Manufacturing Operations team by supporting and maintaining our EUV photoresist production line processes.  Your experience in following procedures, attention to detail, and working in a team environment will help fuel our company’s growth, support our key customers, and provide you with opportunities to expand your career.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Bottle, label, and bag gallons of finished goods

• Decant 1-gallon containers into smaller sample bottles inside a glovebox

• Pick bottles from various storage locations to prepare for shipment

• Perform cleaning processes of various chemical manufacturing equipment under direction of engineering

• Replace empty gas cylinders with full cylinders

• Prepare HVM and Pilot batch production 

• Manage chemical waste following defined procedures and regulations (emptying and disposal of bottles, transfer of drums to chemical storage location)

• Perform general housekeeping in manufacturing areas and adjacent chemical labs

• Perform weekly inventory counts

• Prepare drum shipments to warehouse, receive deliveries from warehouse

• Assist engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks and projects

• Document completed work and remaining work in shift pass-down log

• Adhere to strict semiconductor industry change control protocols by following all documented and defined procedures

• Will be assigned to Day shift initially, with reassignment to A/B alternate shift after training

Operator Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years relevant work experience, or Associates Degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field

• Demonstration of active and effective communication skills, verbal and written

• Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

• Self-driven and proactive in achieving goals 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Must be detail oriented and safety minded

• Experience with high-purity chemical handling is a plus   

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to table height

• Ability to move full 55-gallon drums with appropriate equipment

• Ability to wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing tasks inside chemical manufacturing and cleanroom environments

• May require fitting and use of respirator for specific tasks

• Ability to use a hand truck, drum lifter, and pallet jack to transport heavy objects

• Ability to use a glovebox that requires handling of small objects with thick rubber gloves

• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods

• Ability to use a keyboard and mouse for computer data entry
